Update: The striked-out songs have been officially announced!
Last Friday, when Harmonix announced the DragonForce singles and Days of Peace pack, a preview video for three completely different song was uploaded to the website by accident. The video, which you can view here, shows the following songs:
-"Freeze Frame" by J. Geils Band
-"Love Will Tear us Apart" by Joy Division
-"We're an American Band" by Grand Funk Railroad
After a few days of discussion on the Rock Band forums, the community discovered that each song had it's own page on the website, which anyone could easily view by typing in "rockband.com/songs/TITLEHERE". This led to members finding another song that was likely to be included into the pack:
-"The Loco-Motion" by Grand Funk Railroad
...which then led to members typing in their favorite songs into that URL. Eight more songs were found to have their own page in the songs section of RockBand.com through this method.
- "The Weight (Live)" by The Band
- "Stash" by Phish
- "Rope" by Foo Fighters
- "Blood and Thunder" by Mastodon
- "Dreams" by Fleetwood Mac
- "Edge of Seventeen (Just Like the White Winged Dove)" by Stevie Nicks
- "Working for the Weekend" by Loverboy
Once HMX realized what was going on, the took down the website and got rid of those pages. But the community wasn't going to stop there. They realized that the arists' pages were still up, and started searching for artists that weren't in the current DLC library. They found one.
- "N/A" by Tommy Tutone
While the song title is unknown, it is believed to be "867-5309/Jenny", as that was Tommy Tutone's only well-known song.
